Powerworks gains NIC EIC Certification

Powerworks’ in house team of electrical engineers have many years’ experience in providing top quality electrical installation for our customers. This has now been recognised by the NIC EIC – the national regulatory body for electrical contracting. Electrical companies registered with NICEIC are assessed on a regular basis to ensure high standards and their work is checked against the IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671 as well as other standards.

Powerworks carries out installation works ranging from UPS and generator installations, through to installation of mains panels incorporating complex changeover switchgear, power distribution right down to rack level.

Tony Scotney, Powerworks Installations Manager commented. “We are proud to have gained the recognition of the NIC EIC, we are proud of the high level of skill of our engineers and the consistency of their work and now we have something to shout about! Customers can be confident that no matter how large or small the job, we will always work to the highest standards.” In the last year Tony oversaw over 200 installations, including full power provision in a 58 rack datacentre.
